Mermet always complies with standards
In order to comply with the regulations in force, Mermet systematically eliminates heavy metals (lead) and has been awarded Oeko-Tex Standard 100 quality label for Sunscreen®, Screen Nature and Blockout fabrics. The company also limits emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) when manufacturing its fabrics. Sunscreen® and Screen Nature fabrics are certified Greenguard® label which guarantees the indoor air quality (limitation of Volatile Organic Compounds - VOCs)

To meet these requirements, Mermet keeps on developing high performance Sunscreen® fabrics, an essential ally for eco-efficient building.
In light of this, Mermet's coated glass core yarn fabrics benefit from the new Enduris Glass Core quality label.
This label guarantees the technical characteristics of Sunscreen® fabrics : mechanical resistance, dimensional stability and high-level durability.
Mermet and the environment
In its 2012-2015 collection, Mermet offers a 100% recycled and 100% recyclable fabric. The ST2 solar protection fabric for internal application is produced from 80% post-consumer recycled polyester materials. Mermet fabrics meet RT2012 requirements and are suitable for use in public and tertiary-sector building projects, certified LEED, BREEAM, HQE.
