Mermet fabrics: Product in the limelight
Natura, the naturally decorative fabric
A ground-breaking product with a natural appearance which represents an innovation for coated glass fibre technology, the Natura fabric from the new 2009-2012 Mermet®* Collection combines aesthetic appeal, hi-tech functionality and comfort for the maximum satisfaction of end-users, professionals and diyers alike. These qualities were at the root of its success when it was introduced at the R+T Stuttgart trade show.
As a specialist in the field of solar protection, tensile structures, signage and acoustics, Mermet has a tried-and-tested track record. This well-established company is offering the market a unique product which is decorative through the effect of its stippled chiné fabric and offers high
levels of technical performance. It is the ultimate design solution providing effective protection against heat and luminosity.
What is this innovation based on? A two-coloured yarn with a "Natté 1 x 2" warp and weft weave, giving a very modern effect. A new addition to the Mermet® collection, the Natura fabric with its natural look is the perfect product to meet the demands of the very latest market trends. Decorative panels, roman blinds, roller blinds, velums etc., Natura fabrics offer customized solutions for a multitude of applications, suitable for all types of interior, from traditional to modern.
Available in 7 colours, from the darkest, D237 Hazelnut, to the lightest, D012 Parchment, taking in along the way other evocative tones such as D226 Harvest, D249 Stone, D212 Amaranth, D137 Pebble or even D112 Sahara… all these colours have scored 7/8 on the European scale of colour fastness to light. In summary, it’s an original fabric which in addition to its decorative appearance combines all the thermal and optical performance characteristics associated with fabrics from the Mermet Sunscreen® range.
Performance options can be visualized on the "MODULIGHT® Rapid Selection"** tool which enables everyone to select and compare the different criteria below for their chosen fabric:
