Recommendations for making up the fabric
- Making up a ready-to-use panel of fabric involves cutting (cold process or ultrasound cutting) and assembling the panels, and making sleevespockets by welding thenm (using thermal, high-frequency or ultrasound processes) or sewing them together.
Stiffeners (rods inserted into sewed-on pockets the detachable sleeves), which are sometimes necessary for large blinds or tensioned structures covering a large area, can be used to reinforce the fabric.
Please feel free to refer to the instructions for making up the products, the details of which are featured on the back of each brochure in Mermet's Modulight® collection.
- Welded assemblies can be used for installing kakemono displays and other suspended panels. In this case, it is preferable to make a sleeve pocket right around the edge of the panel.
- Fitting eyelets spaced approximately 25 cm apart around the edge of this sleeve enables these panels to be hung up using various systems.
