An exceptional lifespan
Made from a coated fibreglass yarns base (Sunscreen®) or glass fabric prepared after weaving (Blockout), Modulight® fabrics offer the best characteristics for withstanding any punishment :
Moreover, when they are used as large outdoor panels, Sunscreen® Satiné 5500 or Natté 4503 fabrics offer various advantages :
- Great wind resistance thanks to their glass fibres, which are protected by their coating
- Tensile, shaped structures with large volumes are possible
- Tensioning is possible without deformation
- Major stresses or loads can be supported without breakage or tearing because they have excellent mechanical resistance (breaking and tearing)
The coated fibreglass yarns in Sunscreen® fabrics also offer numerous advantages :
- Resistance to chemicals, temperature variations, and rain
- There is no pooling of water due to the fact the fabric is aerated, which allows natural run-off
- They do not rot
- They do not deteriorate or accumulate mould, even in humid locations, due to their composition which, combined with aeration (Sunscreen®), provides natural ventilation
Colourfastness in relation to light
When exposed to light (including UV light), the colours of Modulight® fabrics remain stable over time.
Their performance characteristics are measured using a colourfastness test in relation to light.
Thanks to their anti-bacterial treatment, Blockout fabrics (Paradis 11600, Fiz 12905, Auris 11900) are protected from any deterioration and offer greater durability.
