Description
The building required optimum thermal and visual protection to address the issues of heat and glare while blending in seamlessly with the façade.
Architect AMMA therefore chose Mermet's Satiné 5500 fabric in colour 0720 Pearl Linen for the external blinds, which were made by blind manufacturer Sun&Lux. These blinds provide:
- glare control while optimising natural light
- protection against heat
- a good view to the outside.
Installing solar shading helps regulate the indoor temperature, improving the well-being of the schoolchildren and reducing the need for air conditioning, thereby saving energy.
