Materiaux.archi's Campus Material Libraries have been rolled out in 47 architecture and design schools in France, Belgium and Luxembourg, offering an innovative tool for showcasing materials with students and teachers. The Campus Material Libraries use wall-mounted, connected educational panels enabling users to access an on-line database via a QR code. These panels present about 300 traditional and innovative material samples, together with biosourced and recycled materials. Each sample is accompanied by a fact sheet on Materiaux.archi detailing its technical characteristics, photos of completed projects, an application video and much more. Thanks to their digital nature, the Matériauthèques Campus offer up-to-date, reliable content that is regularly enhanced with new references.
Materiaux.archi also organises themed conferences and round tables within its establishments, providing an opportunity to discuss new trends and emerging issues. This tool therefore enables future architects to enrich their knowledge and prepare their future projects, and MERMET is proud to make its contribution. What's more, our collaboration with Materiaux.archi allows architectural agencies to create a customised digital Matériauthèque for their agency and store their favourite materials and products.
